Perhaps that is the mistake we make in our industry but few of my photographer friends ever seem to understand that they are also ‘in business’.
Here are a few of my thoughts on cashflow in photography and keeping afloat in a difficult market. For those of you reading this and thinking… I have never been asked for a deposit from a photographer before, the thoughts, which were published in The Guardian’s small business section might help to understand why deposits are important to a small business. I will just say although I am a businessman, I’m still a photographer and although I am happy to have the piece published, I’m not the Managing Director. 🙂
